Eligibility and requirements
The main requirements are:
- Have a monthly income of at least 2.646€.
- Have a university degree or three years of experience.
- Your employer or your client must have been in business for at least one year.
- Have worked for your employer or your clients for at least 3 months.
- Absence of a criminal record within the last 5 years.
Application process
There are two ways to apply for the Digital Nomad visa:
- In Spain. You’ll receive a 3-year residency approval or the length of your longest contract.
- Through the Spanish Consulate abroad. You’ll only get a 1 year visa. But once in Spain you can apply for a 3-year residence permit.
